A friend showed me a picture of one of these mixed stitch blankets, and I had to give it a try.  Gone is the boredom of repeating a pattern!

Hello to the issue of weaving in a million ends.  Solution: crochet a border long enough to fold over and form a ‘stuffed crust’ edging, encasing the hundreds of yarn ends.  Look – no sewing!
