I have been quilting since 2000.  I had been knitting for years before that and when I met Kaffe Fassett at the Sydney Craft show spruiking his new quilting book I was hooked. (I also crochet, but that’s another page…)

I took some lessons with the quilting guru Ruth Stonley, who taught me the ‘proper’ way to design, draft and make quilt blocks.  It’s good to know the rules before you break the rules I say.
