Our community group has some lovely older ladies, who knit at home, and we regularly go and pick up their work. One 94 year old knits squares all year, and we get an influx every now and then. We put them into piles of matching (mostly) 25 squares, then take them and crochet them into blankets.
I snaffled these lovely plain coloured squares and put them together with black. I crochet around the squares twice with half double crochet, then single crochet them together. I’m rather liking the rainbow colours of this one. It has been passed onto K4BN, Knitting for Brisbane’s Needy, for distribution to a worthy cause.
This is another one I have taken to start on next.
Very pretty colours
Thanks.
