I have 5 nieces and nephews, and up until this Christmas only 2 of them had quilts.  What a slack Aunt!

So to remedy that, the 7 year old Mr E, needed a superhero/starwars/space quilt.  As you do.

And here it is!

Some of that space fabric even glows in the dark!

I made the back out of leftover patterned fabric, and some plain and did a random ‘modern’ pieced back.

Turns out he likes the back more than the front, and has this side up on the bed.

I quilted vertical lines almost randomly down the quilt, resisting my urge to quilt crossways also. I’m pretty happy with the back as it’s my first improv type effort.
